🎤What happens when you have to argue BOTH sides?🎤
Our Speech seniors are diving into some real-world issues and preparing to debate topics like:
⏰ Should school start later?
🏈 Should junior high students be allowed to play sports at the high school level?
📚 Should attendance affect a student’s grades?
But there’s a catch… students don’t know which side they’ll ultimately have to argue! 👀
So they can’t just research what they believe. They have to dig deeper, consider multiple perspectives, find credible evidence, collaborate with their team, and be ready to communicate a strong argument from either side.
That’s authentic learning in action! 💬
These debates are helping students practice what it means to be effective communicators and collaborators—skills that extend far beyond the classroom. 🦅

If you ordered a yearbook last year the summer edition is FREE and ready for pickup in room 254 or the HS front office.
